The 2002 float operated valve is designed and manufactured for projects that need a mechanical piston-type float valve to be heavy duty to service a high demanding system.
If replacing a valve with a low shut off water level. The 2002 series valve (size 2” to 4”) is supplied with an stainless steel adapter to lower the lever angle that enables the valve to shutoff at a lower water level.
These available model sizes are from 2″ to 6″ which are mated to the system by either the screwed joint or flange inlet.
It is also available in a comprehensive selection of components to match the needs of different applications.
The 2002 float valve features a center guided piston to provide a smooth opening and seal operation which helps to minimize vibration caused by high water velocity. The valves design also incorporate a large valve bore which helps to eliminate jamming or clogging while in operation.
Service Medium: Water (Fresh / Seawater)
Working Pressure: 0-20 BAR (Non-Shock at normal atmospheric temperature)
The available sizes for model 2002 float valve are from 2″ to 6″. (6″ available in flanged body ends only)
Selected sizes are manufactured with male BSP screwed joint inlet or PN16 flange inlet.
Valves also include a female screwed joint outlet.
The valve heavy-duty main body, piston, and lever are manufactured from high-quality gunmetal material. Assembled together by stainless steel parts to enable this valve to have good corrosion-resistant, and provides reliable operation.
Valve Gunmetal Material: BS EN 1982: 2008 Grade CC491K
Valve Stainless Steel Component and Parts: As specified to BS EN10088-1:2014 Grade 1.4301(304) / 1.4401 (316)
Lever Adapter:M/F BSP screwed joint ends. Stainless steel material to BS 10088-1 Grade 1.4301 (304)
Ball Float: Spherical or Cylinder Shape. Available material in copper, 316 stainless steel, or HD-PE plastic
Float Lever: Mount to float by penetrating through its inner cross-section and screwed joint to valve. Available material in 304 or 316 stainless steel.
This valve has been approved by the Hong Kong Water Service Department under its General Acceptance Scheme.
