The WELSON model 501B is constructed with a Gr. 316 stainless steel piston together with its gunmetal body.
It is a compact ratio type pressure reducing valve to protect pipeline pressure for buildings with fixed head water supply systems.
It can be supplied in various choices of pre-set pressure reduction ratio which makes it simple yet effective to operate and install.
The valve requires a low pressure to open and can be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines.
The available model sizes are from 3/4″ to 6″ which are mated to the system by either the screwed joint or flange inlet.
The 501B pressure reducing valve operates by reducing fixed head pipeline pressure by its pre-defined ratio.
The valve functions automatically once it is installed. Furthermore, because it has no external valves or ports, it does not require adjustment to operate which makes it less prone to tampering.
Service Medium: Water (Fresh / Seawater)
Working Pressure: 0-24 BAR (Non-Shock at normal atmospheric temperature)
Pressure Reduction Ratio: 2:1 (Standard), 3:1, 3:2, 4:1
The available sizes for model 501B pressure reducing valve are from 3/4″ to 6″.
Selected sizes are manufactured with female BSP screwed joint inlet or PN16 flange inlet.
The main uniform heavy-duty body of valve is casted from gunmetal material.
Assembled together by stainless steel components to enable this valve to have excellent corrosion-resistant.
Valve Gunmetal Material: BS EN 1982: 2008 Grade CC491K
