Gr. 316 Stainless Steel Ratio Type Pressure Reducing Valve (Gr. 316 SS Piston)
The WELSON model 501S is constructed from a high-quality Gr. 316 stainless steel body and piston.
It is a compact ratio type pressure reducing valve to protect pipeline pressure for buildings with fixed head water supply systems.
It can be supplied in a 2:1 pre-set pressure reduction ratio which makes it simple yet effective to operate and install.
The valve requires a low pressure to open and can be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines.
The available model sizes are from 1″ and 4″ which are mated to the system by either the screwed joint or PN16 flange inlet.
The 501S pressure reducing valve operates by reducing fixed head pipeline pressure by its pre-defined ratio.
Once it is installed the valve functions automatically.
Furthermore, because it has no external valves or ports, it does not require adjustments to operate which makes it less prone to tampering.
Service Medium: Water (Fresh / Seawater)
Working Pressure: 0-24 BAR (Non-Shock at normal atmospheric temperature)
Pressure Reduction Ratio: 2:1 (Standard)
The available sizes for model 501S pressure reducing valve are from 1″ to 4″.
Selected sizes are manufactured with female BSP screwed joint inlet or PN16 flange inlet.
The main uniform heavy-duty body of model 501S pressure reducing valve is casted from stainless steel material.
Assembled together by stainless steel components to enable this valve to have excellent corrosion-resistant.
Valve Stainless Steel Material: BS EN 10283:2010 Grade 1.4408 (316) / BS EN 10088-1:2014 Grade 1.4401 (316)
