The WELSON model 102 fully guided and balanced pressure reducing valve range is designed for use on the water distribution systems in buildings and for installations which have varying inlet pressures and capacities.
It is particularly suitable where a positive shut-off is required under “no flow” conditions and where that compact size and economy are essential.
The valve requires a low pressure to open and can be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines.
The available model sizes are 1-1/2″ and 2″ which are mated to the system by the screwed joint inlet.
The 102 pressure reducing valve is operated by a spring-loaded piston and has a balanced main which ensures that the outlet pressure is unaffected by changes of the inlet pressure.
The valve is opened by the load on the adjusting spring and closed by reduced pressure.
Under normal working conditions, the balance of these two forces gives the degree of valve seat opening for the required reduced pressure.
Service Medium: Water ( Fresh / Seawater)
Working Pressure: 0-24 BAR (Non-Shock at normal atmospheric temperature)
Pressure Adjustment Range: 1 BAR to 6 BAR
The available sizes for model 102 pressure reducing valve are 1-1/2″ and 2″.
All valves are manufactured with female BSP screwed joint inlet.
The main uniform heavy-duty body of valve is casted from gunmetal material.
Assembled together by stainless steel component ensure this valve to have excellent corrosion-resistant.
Valve Gunmetal Material: BS EN 1982: 2008 Grade CC491K
Valve Stainless Steel Material: BS EN 10088-1: 2014 Grade 1.4301 (304)
