C.P. Brass Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve
The WELSON model 102BB is a 1/2″ size direct-acting reducing valve designed for use on the water distribution system for home or light commercial applications that have varying inlet pressures and capacities.
It is particularly suitable where a positive shut-off is required under “no flow” conditions and where that compact size and economy are essential.
The valve requires a low pressure to open and can be installed in both horizontal and vertical lines.
The valve is mated to the system by the screwed joint inlet.
The 102BB pressure reducing valve is operated by a spring-loaded piston.
The valve is opened by the load on the adjusting spring and closed by reduced pressure.
Under normal working conditions, the balance of these two forces gives the degree of valve seat opening for the required reduced pressure.
Service Medium: Water (Fresh)
Working Pressure: 0-10 BAR (Non-Shock at normal atmospheric temperature)
Pressure Adjustment Range: 1 BAR to 5 BAR
The available size for model 102BB pressure reducing valve is 1/2″.
All valves are manufactured with female BSP screwed joint inlet.
The main uniform body of valve is casted from brass material.
Valve Brass Material: BS EN 1982: 2008 Grade C754S
The valve has been designed to be fully serviceable.
